Simon Zibo Scores For Birkirkara FC Despite Defeat To Mosta FC

Ghanaian 🇬🇭 International Simon Zibo was on the scoresheet for his new club Birkirkara FC over the weekend despite their 1-2 home defeat to Mosta FC in the Malta Premier league.

The former Liberty Professionals midfielder who joined the team earlier this month, was named in the starting XI and scored the opener in the 6th minute, but unfortunately goals by Zachary Brincat and Jacob Nii Martey Akrong saw them lose the game played at the Ta’Qali National stadium on Saturday.

Zibo, a household name in Ghana following his four years with Dansoman based Liberty Professionals who until two seasons ago, were in the Ghana Premier League.
