Selorm Geraldo Joins Oman Topflight Al Orouba

Oman Premier league side, Al Orouba have signed Ghanaian attacker Selorm Geraldo till the end of the football season.

Selorm, who last played for five-time CAF Champions League winners T.P Mazembe is sealed the deal over the weekend having successfully passed his medical.

The deal, though a short one has an option to be extended and made permanent at the end of the season.

The former Liberty Professionals player who is known for his pacey play and deft touches is expected to use his great experience to add his quota to the success of the club in the ongoing season to help them escape relegation.

The former Golden Kicks player who has had successful stints with AL Ahly Tripoli and B.A United played his first official game for his new side in their 1-0 away defeat to Al Suwaiq in the Oman Premier league, a game he started and lasted for 85 minutes.

Speaking to www.ghanasoccernews.org, Selorm Geraldo was hopeful that the club will fight hard to maintain their premiership status.

“Our position on the league table is not good. But it’s far from over as we are not giving up as a team. I am happy to have signed for this club and trade to help them battle relegation.”

“Oman league is very tough and rigorous and its suits me well. My coaches and teammates have helped me settle well these past few days and together I belive we can achieve our aim,” he added.
