Nicholas Opoku Gives Assist In Amiens First Win

Ghanaian international Nicholas Opoku gave an assist in Amiens SC 1-0 win over Grenoble in the French Ligue 2 played this afternoon.

Opoku who returned from international duty with Ghana in their two friendlies against Mali and Qatar, was named in the starting XI together with fellow Ghanaian teammate Emmanuel Lomotey.

After a goalless first half, Nigerian striker, Stephen Odey scored the opener following a wonderful assist from Nicholas Opoku.

Marshalling the defence of Amiens with precision, Opoku and his colleagues managed to hold on till the final whistle to record their very first win of the season which is already in it’s 7th week.
