Barely a week after announcing the appointment of a new head coach, Division two side NADM SC have announced the appointment of Mr. Kwaku Oware Boateng as the it’s new Board Chairman.
The Hohoe based club is not leaving any stone unturned in their bid to rise to the top of Ghana Football ie qualifying to the Division 1 league then eventually into the Ghana Premier League.
The appointment of the new board chairman has become necessary due to the increasing demands for the day to day running of the club, a position previously held by its current president, Deladem Ackhumey William.
Born and raised in Ghana, Kwaku attended Prempeh College, before relocating to the UK where he completed his BA(Hons) in Accounting and Finance at University of Portsmouth.
He has 13 years of financial services experience and currently works at one of the big four accounting firms in the UK.
Club president, Deladem Ackhumey William who broke the news to this website, mentioned that, “his great deal of experience will help increase revenue by bringing in new sponsors and partnerships.”
“He is a strong believer in the power of sport and he believes NADM Soccer Club is really at the start of something big, and his long term goal is to help the club rise through the divisions, with the ultimate aim of reaching the Ghana Premier League”.
Kwaku now lives in London with his wife and two young kids.
