Ghanaian International Emmanuel Toku scored his first league goal of the season as his side Botev Plovdiv eased 3-1 past Pirin Blagoevgrad in the Bulgarian Premier league game played this afternoon.
A former player of Cheetah FC in Ghana, Toku, who is a household name in Ghana football following his exploits during the Black Satellites 2016-17 era where he featured prominently in the CAF U-20 AFCON and FIFA Under-20 World Cups, joined the team in the 2020-2021 season from F. Amager in Denmark.

Pa Kanoute opened the scoring in the 21st minute before Elvis Manu added another to end the first half 2-0.
Back from recess and Toku had his name on the scoresheet with a great goal in the 63rd minute before Andrey Yordanov scored a consolation to end the game 3-1.
The goal which was his first of the season also won him the Man Of The Match after the game.
