Division Two side Cheetah FC has announced former Ghanaian International Emmanuel Clottey as its head coach.
The former Asante Kotoko, Esperance, and Great Olympics striker, hanged his boots after the 2020/2021 football season where he played for Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea.
He played for the junior Ghana national teams, Black Satellites, and Black Meteors.
Cheetah FC is based in Kasoa and was formed in 2009 by its current CEO and bankroller Abdul Hayye Yartey. The club has built a strong reputation for producing young talented players in Ghana and beyond.
Cheetah FC has produced very good players for both local and European clubs and the Ghana National Teams (Starlets), (Satellites) as well as the senior team, (Black Stars).
Notable among these players are former Newcastle United’s Christian Atsu who was once a key feature for the senior national men’s football team, Black Stars.
Alhassan Wakaso, Mohammed Iddriss, Emmanuel Toku, and Ernest Ohemeng are but a few of the players that the Kasoa based side has produced in its short but illustrious existence.
