Daniel Amartey Wins FA Cup With Leicester City

It was all joy for Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey as his side won the English FA Cup this afternoon beating Chelsea 1-0 at the Wembley stadium.

Amartey who was an unused substitute in the game has been vital in the buildup to the final having played a couple of games for coach Brendan Rodgers’ team.

Amartey has now won two trophies at Leicester after he was named in the squad that shockingly lifted the 2016 English Premier League title.

He joins Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng as Ghanaian players to have won the FA Cup.
