Daniel Amartey Plays Full Throttle In Leicester’s 1-2 Away Win At Southampton

on

Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey played the entire duration of Leicester City’s 1-2 away win at Southampton this afternoon.

Amartey who returned to the starting XI after coming on as a substitute in their 2-0 win over Wolves last week, gave a very good account of himself throughout the game and despite falling behind to a Ryan Bertrand’s opener just after half-time, they managed to keep their calm and composure.

Demarai Gray then equalized four minutes later for Leicester before Pierre-Emile Hojberg was dismissed for simulation.

Harry Maguire made the man advantage tell as he thundered home a fierce effort from outside the box in injury time to see them record their second win of the three week old English Premier League.
