Daniel Amartey BACK In Ghana After 2 Years

on

Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey has returned to the motherland after a two year absence from family and friends.

The Leicester City dependable defender arrived in Ghana late last night after being in UK with his club as he recovered from a career threatening injury he sustained two seasons ago during a league game.

He made a swift comeback to club football last December playing a very important role in Leicester City’s win of the English FA Cup, an action they won beating Chelsea in the finals.

His good performance for his club on recent times did not go unnoticed by the head coach of the senior men’s national team C.K Akonnor, as he has received a call up to the Black Stars ahead of their twin international friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast next month.
