on

Blackstars Captain Andre Ayew today honoured an invitation extended to him by the parliamentary select committee on sports and culture.

The Ghana captain was summoned by the House after Ghana’s abysmal performance at the 2022 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon where they failed to win any of their Group games and exited the competition at the group stage.

He also paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin as discussions were heavily on Ghana football as a whole and Black Stars stars participation in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November.
