Accra Sports Stadium To Host Black Stars And Black Meteors Qualifiers

The Accra Sports Stadium will host two mega international matches involving the Black Stars and the Black Meteors on Saturday March 23, 2019.

The Black Stars will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the final qualifier of the 2019 Afcon, while the Black Meteors will welcome Gabon’s Under 23 side for the first leg of their qualifiers for the CAF Under 23 Tournament which also serves as the first stage of qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The Black Meteors will be the first to be in action at 3:00 p.m. before the Black Stars face the Kenyans at 6:00 p.m. in what promises to be an exciting international double-header which has been approved by the Confederation of African Football CAF.

With international football focused in Kumasi due to Asante Kotoko’s continues involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup, fans in the capital will have the opportunity of enjoying a great soccer fiesta on a single day.

The GFA will communicate further plans to make this day an exciting, memorable experience for football fans.
